WashU Wind Ensemble Concert
Join the WashU Wind Ensemble for an evening of musical contrasts, dramatic rhythms, and cinematic favorites! The program opens with Robert Sheldon’s Chiaroscuro, exploring the interplay of light and dark, followed by Nocturne, an original work by Wind Ensemble member Gabriel Futhey. John Barnes Chance’s powerful Incantation and Dance brings driving rhythms and intensity to the stage, while Maurice Jarre’s sweeping score from the epic film Lawrence of Arabia, arranged by Alfred Reed, provides a grand cinematic finish.
